Custom OS X System tray Icons by asilaydyingdl Custom OS X System tray Icons by asilaydyingdl
I am no longer supporting this project. If you are interested in continuing the project, please see my journal for my project policies!

This is a pack of System Tray Icons I made for my OS Theme on Windows XP. There are 13 16 x 16 icons in the pack. The volume icon, desktop4ever and desktop coral icons are merely improvements of the originals that came with the original programs. The others are either made by me or edited icons that I themed black and white to fit the OS X look. Use resource hacker to apply.

Also, they look much better than the above picture shows. Look at my desktop picture (in my gallery) to see them in use.

Hey.

I'd like to use Resource Hacker to replace the icons in my systray (have an XP and Win7 machine looking convincingly like Macs - apart from the horrid systray icons!)

.. Is there any guidance online/or that you can give on where (exactly) to find the icons to replace the regular stuff like volume, bluetooth etc).

Plus - I've tried changing icons for applications such as Windows Live Mail client - there's various icons in there - but no sign of the systray icons - can you advise?

Ooooooh no man, there really isn't any online guide. Whenever I need to figure out what dll or exe does what, I just search google, trying different terms until I find out. For example, I would try "Bluetooth exe dll system file windows 7" or something like that. I already have the system files edited though (except for bluetooth), they are in my gallery.

Disappointed with this, after such a success with the rest of your creations.
